We’re living through a mental health crisis, but beneath it, I believe there’s something even deeper, a crisis of meaning, belonging, and human connection. We’ve built extraordinary systems, faster technology, smarter machines, bigger economies, yet many of us are quietly forgetting how to grieve, how to listen, how to sit with uncertainty, how to belong. Seekers was born from a simple question: what happens when modern lives meet ancient wisdom?” -Director Gio Israel“Seekers” was filmed across four continents and explores the depths of the human experience and the search for meaning. The six-part cinematic docu-series features a high-profile cast including Édgar Ramírez, Riley Keough and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, among others as they immerse themselves in ancient healing traditions, sacred ceremonies and deeply personal journeys through grief, identity, trauma, belonging, purpose and the growing global mental health crisis. The production secured unprecedented access to global rituals, communities and wisdom traditions that have rarely, and in some cases never, been captured on film. Adapt Studios is proud to have line produced the India legs that took us to Gangotri, Uttar Kashi, Dehradun, Ujjain and beyond.
